The Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award

The Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award (WEA) by the Bayer Foundation, in partnership with the Impact Hub Network, is a dynamic celebration of women entrepreneurs who are leading innovative change. This award is not only a recognition of their efforts, but also a commitment to support women pioneers in health, nutrition, and related climate-smart solutions. The Bayer Foundation is currently on the lookout for 15 exceptional winners (5 per region) to join the six-month Accelerator Programme. Together, we can actively shape an inclusive and equitable future for all.

Eligibility

1. A Woman Entrepreneur
Are you a woman entrepreneur looking to make a difference? In today’s world, women face significant challenges that hinder their success. The Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award seeks to enhance the capacity of women-led enterprises to generate social impact through groundbreaking innovation. We are looking for women-led enterprises that contribute to driving social change and improving their communities.

2. Driving Social Impact
Our emphasis is on empowering women-led enterprises that are working on developing health, nutrition, and climate-smart solutions that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger) and 3 (Good Health & Wellbeing). We are searching for entrepreneurs who aspire to reduce inequalities with innovative solutions to uplift one another.

3. From These Regions
Although women face challenges worldwide, we focus on empowering entrepreneurs from Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. This is an opportunity for entrepreneurs from these regions to take centre stage and accelerate their innovations towards a healthier future.
