The Global AgriFood TechPreneur Programme is a 12-month business development programme that aims to promote food system sustainability. It supports young graduates in tackling important challenges related to food sustainability, such as improving food production and distribution, reducing hunger and malnutrition, and preventing food waste.
Financial Institutions will be teaming up with AgriFood TechPreneurs to help them apply for financing, whether they want to get started or expand their existing solution. This programme will include a 6-week interactive course on Entrepreneurship, Tech, and Sustainability in the Food System, which will help TechPreneurs improve their business plans. They’ll also be encouraged to try out small-scale trials, which can help bolster their plans.
As part of the programme, all AgriFood TechPreneurs will get access to the World Food Tracker for free for one year. This tool will help them plan their farm setup and sell their AgriFood products. They’ll also be able to source sustainable nutrients, seeds, fry/fingerlings, chicks, and piglets, as well as sustainable farm machinery.

The deadline for applying for the 2024 AgriFood Techpreneur Programme is on Tuesday, 20th February 2024.
